Their services look very cool. You can use this to set up your own forum because 300MB is good enough. I don`t like the site`s design ...
BTW I can recommend zymic. :)

www.free-webhosts.com/ they are providing with 400 MB of free space for web hosting. However, if you go for Business.Yahoo.com  they are providing unlimited hosting & data transfer 1000 business Emails for free. If anyone is interested then they can go for either of them.

there is generally some problem with free hosts, they are alright for very small sites. like a blog that has few visitors but the ones i have tried have been restricted some way. like  no cpanel, or only 5000mb bandwidth.

i geuss there are some good uses for free hosting though and especially for starting off with your own site.

I agree with you, admin. If you want a good site you need to buy paid hosting because you`ll have 99.99% uptime, more bandwidth and space, quality support and others that you don`t have at free hosting sites. ;)

My friends, I am not saying it from my own side or doing promotion of it. I have heard it from somewhere and also read it while googling for web hosting sites. I think that you should check it once more for more updated news.

The best hosts are the paid ones. If you want quality, speed, uptime and good support you must buy host.

That is a point where I got confused and this make me to think that whether paid hosting is more effective or the free ones. I think that it depends on your pocket whether you can afford it or not.

I like my free hosting because I used it for lot of my sites, All my sites are hosted on that free hosting. I agree its not having cpanel but, I got used to that vista panel. For simple sites I recommend it.

I think umarsa from hostwoot free hosting is here. You can ask him for free hosting. Other than that there are two more sites for free hosting : hostcolor & novahost.

Before i say any think i would just like to say i am not knocking what the thread starter has done and im not telling you not to use his site.

I don't see the point in Free Web Hosts, as a person that uses Web hosting a lot i for my own sites , i can tell you a load of reason why not to use a Free Host.

1. Most Free Hosts go offline after a few months due to not making any money and they can not pay the server bills.
2. Your limited to Support and Features.
3. Most Free Hosts do not allow Backups meaning if you wont to change Webhosts you have lost yours work you have done on your sites.

Not exactly, there are many free hosts alive and kicking. And they do offer free service without ads for years. I think you're not aware of those. Some free hosts are post 2 host so they cover their costs and offer service like paid hosting.
