I have a question.

Some years ago when Ezine and About.com and other content portals started, it seemed like this was a way for a central database site to mine clicks based on keyword density. But today I see Ezines used as a way to foster link traffic. But is this correct? is it accurate to treat Ezine stuff as an article submission execution?
