SEO Software?

Poking around on EBAY, I discovered some software programs that states it can SEO any website utilizing search optimization "spiders".

Do these programs work?  Does Search Engine Optimization software work?

I have'nt tried any myself but yes a friend of mine had good results with SEnuke. I really don't know how that software works but it does make the SEO process easier and faster.
