Can some one give me a hint on Affiliate Marketing?

I have been hearing more these days about Affiliate marketing but i never got a clear picture about it.

If anyone here can help me by giving a tutorial for this noob to know about affiliate marketing then that will be fine.

I learned everything I recognize about affiliate marketing from a great website called "Wealthy Affiliate." It takes you step by step through the selling method and encompasses everything you need to get started. It even embraces an easy to use website builder and web hosting.

Affiliate programs give good payments with less hard work as you need to do the smart work.
The people must get attracted towards your site & buy the product so that you can earn as well.

Basically you sign up as an affiliate for a site then promote/sell their products, in return you get a share (commission) on each sale. There are tons of affiliate marketing sites out there just do your research before you step in as an affiliate.

Well affiliates are like sales person. You have to select a product and then market it. If anyone buys that product then you get paid for via commission. You may feel it's hard or with low commission but there are some programs which pay higher commission.
